Personal pronouns
Personal pronouns have a short and a long form in Estonian. The long form is used to emphasize the pronoun.
Nom. mina ~ ma ´I´
Gen. minu ~ mu ´my, mine´
Nom. sina ~sa ´you´
Gen. sinu ~ su ´your, yours´
Nom. tema ~ ta ´he, she´
Gen. tema ~ ta ´his, her, hers´
Nom. meie ~ me ´we´
Gen. meie ~ me ´our, ours´
Nom. teie ~ te ´pl. you´
Gen. teie ~ te ´your, yours´
Nom. nemad ~ nad ´they´
Gen. nende ´their, theirs´
